He was born in Cologne and studied medicine and dermatology at the University of Ulm and Würzburg, Germany. Subsequently, since 1998 he worked as a dermatology clinic manager in Günzburg, Germany and in 2009 he moved to Costa del Sol, Spain, since then he has been working as a dermatologist in private clinics and since 2024 at Compass Clinic.
