Dr. Gonzalo Cortázar

Dr. Gonzalo Cortázar is a nationally recognized pediatric cardiologist with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in children. He is particularly skilled in echocardiography, enabling immediate and precise visualization of cardiac function using the advanced equipment at German Clinic.

After graduating in Medicine from the University of Granada in 2014, he completed a four-year residency in Pediatrics in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, achieving his specialization in 2019. During his training, he developed a strong interest in pediatric cardiology, training further at top hospitals including H.U. Gregorio Marañón (Madrid), H.U. Reina Sofía (Córdoba), and H.U. Virgen de las Nieves (Granada).

Since January 2022, Dr. Cortázar has been working at the H. Materno Infantil of the H.R.U. in Málaga, a center nationally renowned for its excellence in pediatric cardiology.
