Dr. Enrique Aycart

Dr. Enrique Aycart Valdés is a General and Gastrointestinal Surgeon. A member of the team at Compass Clinic, he specializes in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery – with extensive experience in cholecystectomies, anti-reflux surgery, colorectal procedures, gastric/splenic/esophageal resections, and acute abdomen management – and a special interest in Digestive Oncological Surgery (developing onco-surgical strategies for metastatic colorectal cancer). Graduated in Medicine from the University of Seville, he specialized in General and Gastrointestinal Surgery in the United Kingdom (accredited in Spain in 2000) and holds a European Diploma in Oncosurgical Strategies for Hepato-Bilio- Pancreatic Cancers (Paul Brousse Hospital, Paris). After over eight years at UK NHS hospitals and as a Specialist Physician at Hospital Costa del Sol (2004–2012), he currently serves as Head of the General and Digestive Surgery Service at Quirónsalud Campo de Gibraltar University Hospital (since 2013) and Head of Service at Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital. A member of the Spanish Association of Oncological Surgery, he actively participates in international courses and seminars; collaborating with Dr. Michael Peters – gastroenterologist and Medical Director of Compass Clinic – to provide comprehensive care in Marbella.
